Akhila is a graduate in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow. She has also studied Environmental Decision Making as well as economics and law. She has worked on projects for the British Council and Oxfam whilst in the UK. Upon her return to India she worked for Greenpeace and then proceeded to work for several companies where she advised on CSR and sustainable business practices. She believes that businesses have the power to change socio-enviro situations and the best way to approach these issues is through systems thinking. She is an IEMA certified CSR Practitioner and currently works with SRI Vietnam and writes for Triple Pundit. In her free-time she is a voracious reader and enjoys photography, yoga, traveling and the great outdoors.

Priti is a Professional Engineer (PE) and LEED AP with extensive experience in civil design and engineering, green building technologies, project lifecycle, planning and budgeting. She is presently the Managing Editor at Ecopreneurist, where she writes about eco-business practices and CSR. She has worked with various non-profit organizations developing successful outreach programs and marketing strategies. Priti holds a Master's degree in Biological Resources Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and believes that strategic sustainable practices on both personal and business levels are not only fun but also profitable to the bottom-line. She lives in Virginia, USA with her husband and son, loves the outdoors and is a Food Network junkie.

Daniel focuses on environmental economics and policy, project coordination and communications. He has worked with non-profit organizations and governments in the fields of sustainable urban planning, water quality and supply, transportation, and land conservation. Daniel believes that the triple bottom line of sustainability is a necessity both for our continued livelihoods at high standards of living and for a thriving business environment. A LEED Accredited Professional, he holds an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of Glasgow and a BA in Geography and Environmental Policy from Northwestern University. Currently residing in Chicago, Illinois, he enjoys hiking with his dog and volunteering as an urban arborist in his free time.

Juan is an economist and Executive MBA from Barcelona with strong connections to Germany and the Scandinavian countries. He is trained in the GRI and ISO 26000 frameworks and also holds a GRI-certified training on stakeholder engagement. Juan is a consultant of sustainability and CSR with a strong international profile. He brings over 16 years experience in sales, marketing, and innovative project management, of which 10 have been at the food industry. Juan is currently leading a project with Economists Without Borders in Barcelona, where he develops a CSR guide for small and medium enterprises. He is also preparing a dissertation about the quality of sustainability reporting in the food industry.

Jay is a CSR and Sustainability professional with expert skills in blending science and policy. He has extensive experience in the field of scientific and managerial environmental services, with special interest in strategic and operational sustainability solutions. His work profile requires him to consult large corporations, non-profits, local and state governments on CSR initiatives, strategic sustainability, GHG emissions and organizational change management. Clients he has worked with include Bloomberg, Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Princeton University and NJDOT.

Dr. Cohen is the co-author (with Hunter Lovins) of Climate Capitalism, a book released in 2011 profiling the profitable opportunities in the transition to the low-carbon economy. Boyd has started several sustainable ventures in green building (he is a LEED Accredited Professional), green IT, and more recently carbon origination with his company CO2 IMPACT. Dr. Cohen has a Ph.D. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado and spent nearly 10 years in academia where he taught and researched sustainable entrepreneurship from Spain to Central America and finally Canada. He's an avid snowboarder and mountain biker.
