Akhila is a graduate in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow. She has also studied Environmental Decision Making as well as economics and law. She has worked on projects for the British Council and Oxfam whilst in the UK. Upon her return to India she worked for Greenpeace and then proceeded to work for several companies where she advised on CSR and sustainable business practices. She believes that businesses have the power to change socio-enviro situations and the best way to approach these issues is through systems thinking. She is an IEMA certified CSR Practitioner and currently works with SRI Vietnam and writes for Triple Pundit. In her free-time she is a voracious reader and enjoys photography, yoga, traveling and the great outdoors.

Juan is an economist and Executive MBA from Barcelona with strong connections to Germany and the Scandinavian countries. He is trained in the GRI and ISO 26000 frameworks and also holds a GRI-certified training on stakeholder engagement. Juan is a consultant of sustainability and CSR with a strong international profile. He brings over 16 years experience in sales, marketing, and innovative project management, of which 10 have been at the food industry. Juan is currently leading a project with Economists Without Borders in Barcelona, where he develops a CSR guide for small and medium enterprises. Dr. Cohen is the co-author (with Hunter Lovins) of Climate Capitalism, a book released in 2011 profiling the profitable opportunities in the transition to the low-carbon economy. Boyd has started several sustainable ventures in green building (he is a LEED Accredited Professional), green IT, and more recently carbon origination with his company CO2 IMPACT. Dr. Cohen has a Ph.D. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado and spent nearly 10 years in academia where he taught and researched sustainable entrepreneurship from Spain to Central America and finally Canada. He's an avid snowboarder and mountain biker.
